"I never got a chance to be a little girl." That right there, is what started all of this. I'm all for comfort, but compare this to the 600 lb girl. She is that way because eating comforts her. Is that healthy? No. Therefore, is this healthy? No.
I am not going to reply to this one on youtube but it is such a poor argument I wanted to discuss it here.
While overeating often has negative consequences, this poster did not identify any negative consequences that would result from adult baby roleplaying. Some people might make a slippery slope argument and suggest that once you start roleplaying you will want to roleplay more and more until it interferes with your adult responsibilities. My experience with adult babies is that that sort of thing happening is extremely rare. Most adult babies find an equilibrium between their responsibilities, their adult social life, and their roleplaying.
I am tempted to make a sarcastic remark about people who have a problem with overeating having to give up eating entirely. This would be a poor analogy as well because you can't live without eating, but you can live without roleplaying. However, the implication here is that it is unhealthy to do things that you enjoy doing and this is a ridiculous concept. I think it is fair to say that it would be unhealthy if you never did things that you enjoyed. And if there is no objective harm in adult baby roleplaying then how exactly is it unhealthy?
I guess the short, maybe sarcastic, way of responding to this is:
So it is unhealthy to do anything that brings you comfort???
